This spring-summer season brings a very particular trend, which has had a long history on the catwalk: the military fashion.
Military fashion become trend in spring-summer season. Companies such as Gieves & Hawkes, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenso and Bluemarine propose camouflage, military jackets, dresses, cargo pants and chic and feminine garments, ranging from caps to evening gowns.
The military fashion is not exactly new, but this season is going strong because it is at the top of the latest trends. It is currently closer to the functionality and usability in the past, although their models are inspired by military uniforms of the twentieth century.
In 2010, military fashion comes in two trends: military and aviator. If you are interested in military fashion, you should opt for the greens, but if you follow the trend flyer, you must be clear that it is more sleek and thin sections in blue.

If we had to define something Fidel Castro would be for their continued military green suit and beard. Their clothing has become an icon of the Cuban regime and we have rarely seen anything other than the uniform, in its different versions (special case is the fashion tracksuit jacket combined with an attempt to make this two-piece some classy). Military fashion is a catwalk favourite, appearing in different collections over the seasons. Making this look not so much a trend as a wardrobe stalwart.

Military fashion trend could not be more present-day and that is why it keeps evolving into new variations. The look has moved on from the Napoleonic styled jackets with high stand collars and military jackets with metal buttons and gold braiding. Cheryl Cole embraced this look as she ‘ fights for her love’. Victoria Beckham has also been spotted out and about sporting this look.
This Autumn season is all about tough military fashion such as combat style mixed with modern functionality and fun. The forces have influenced two key looks, the Army and the Aviator style.
