Project GRAD programs: Juanita's Diary

The annual production of Juanita's Diary, a play about a Migrant family that overcomes the cycle of poverty through education is delighting audiences and encouraging families to pursue higher education. The play was written by Janie Landin Ramirez, a member of Raiders Rojos and 1979 graduate from Texas Tech.

The 2003 performances drew hundreds of families to the Texas Tech campus during Hispanic Heritage Month and is now being made into a full length DVD production! Alumni, community leaders and students from preK-graduate school make up the volunteer cast.

Proceeds benefit Raiders Rojos ProjectGRAD programs. Continue to visit this site for updates on 2005 performances and scheduled auditions.
